HRLY SNOWFALL RATES OF 1.00-2.00 IN/HR ARE LIKELY. HEAVY WINTER PRECIPITATION IS CURRENTLY ONGOING OVER WRN KS...EXTENDING NOW INTO SWRN NEB. OTHER AREAS OF HEAVIER PRECIPITATION CONTINUE TO MOVE NWD ACROSS THE TX/OK PANHANDLES. SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS FREEZING LINE NEARLY STATIONARY FROM LXN TO JUST W OF DDC AND E OF EHA...WITH FREEZING RAIN OCCURRING IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. GIVEN SLOW MOVEMENT OF UPPER LOW...OVERALL PRECIPITATION TYPE IS NOT EXPECTED TO CHANGE MUCH THROUGH THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.
