SNOWFALL RATES WILL CONTINUE TO OCCASIONALLY REACH 2 IN/HR AT TIMES...WITH LOCAL 3 IN/HR RATES IN THE FOOTHILLS. REGIONAL RADAR MOSAICS AND CURRENT SURFACE OBSERVATIONS CONFIRM A N/S BAND OF HEAVY SNOW HAS DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE ERN SLOPES OF THE FRONT RANGE. 00Z AMA/MAF OBSERVED SOUNDINGS AND ACARS DATA DEPICT A 100+ KT JET STREAK NOSING NWD ACROSS THE TX PANHANDLE...CONTRIBUTING TO UPPER-LEVEL DIVERGENCE/DIFFLUENCE IN ITS LEFT EXIT REGION. THIS JET WILL SPREAD NWD THROUGH THE EVENING...ENHANCING ASCENT INTO SERN WY. IN ADDITION...REGIONAL PROFILERS ACROSS THE I-25 CORRIDOR HAVE SHOWN INCREASINGLY LARGE VEERED LOW/MID-LEVEL HODOGRAPHS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
