   A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW ALONG THE ERN SLOPES OF THE CO FRONT
   RANGE...FROM THE I-25 CORRIDOR WWD...WILL SPREAD NWD THROUGH THE
   EVENING HOURS INTO SERN WY. SNOWFALL RATES WILL CONTINUE TO
   OCCASIONALLY REACH 2 IN/HR AT TIMES...WITH LOCAL 3 IN/HR RATES IN
   THE FOOTHILLS.
   
   REGIONAL RADAR MOSAICS AND CURRENT SURFACE OBSERVATIONS CONFIRM A
   N/S BAND OF HEAVY SNOW HAS DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE ERN
   SLOPES OF THE FRONT RANGE. 00Z AMA/MAF OBSERVED SOUNDINGS AND ACARS
   DATA DEPICT A 100+ KT JET STREAK NOSING NWD ACROSS THE TX
   PANHANDLE...CONTRIBUTING TO UPPER-LEVEL DIVERGENCE/DIFFLUENCE IN ITS
   LEFT EXIT REGION. THIS JET WILL SPREAD NWD THROUGH THE
   EVENING...ENHANCING ASCENT INTO SERN WY. IN ADDITION...REGIONAL
   PROFILERS ACROSS THE I-25 CORRIDOR HAVE SHOWN INCREASINGLY LARGE
   VEERED LOW/MID-LEVEL HODOGRAPHS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. ELY 1-3 KM
   AGL WINDS OF 25 TO 40 KTS WILL CONTINUE TO PROMOTE STRONG UPSLOPE
   FLOW...SUPPORTING THE EXPANSION OF HEAVY SNOW NWD. 18Z NAM/21Z RUC
   MODEL GUIDANCE WEAKEN THESE WINDS GRADUALLY FROM S TO N AFTER 03Z.
   CONSEQUENTLY...HEAVY SNOW WILL DIMINISH S OF THE PALMER DIVIDE BY
